Commercial and industrial scaffolding
Shops, schools, offices and industrial units, sequenced around your programme rather than ours.
Contractors do not want a scaffolder who needs chasing. They want lifts ready ahead of the trade that follows, RAMS in the file before anyone arrives, and a phone that gets answered when the programme moves.
We run commercial work off a schedule agreed at tender, and we adapt it when the programme slips, because it always does. Out of hours and weekend erection is available where the site needs to stay live during trading.
What is included
- Site specific RAMS, TG20:21 compliance sheets or bespoke design drawings
- Phased erection and adaptation sequenced with your trades
- Pedestrian gantries, fans and debris netting on public frontages
- Out of hours and weekend working to keep premises trading
- Weekly statutory inspections logged and issued to the principal contractor
Commercial scaffolding: your questions
Can you work to our programme and RAMS requirements?
Yes. We issue site specific RAMS, method statements and either a TG20:21 compliance sheet or bespoke design drawings depending on the structure, before anyone arrives on site.
Do you carry out weekly scaffold inspections?
Yes. Every scaffold is handed over tagged, then inspected at least every seven days and after any alteration or high wind event. Reports go to whoever you nominate.
Also worth knowing
Plenty of jobs need two of these at once. A re-roof that needs a temporary roof usually needs a chimney tower as well.
- Domestic scaffolding Roof repairs, extensions, loft conversions and repointing, on driveways and gardens we leave as we found them.
- Temporary roofs A watertight lid over the whole structure so a stripped roof is not at the mercy of the forecast.
- Chimney & gutter access Tight, stable towers that reach the awkward point on the roof without damaging tiles or borders.
- Conservatory bridging Beam bridges that span glass roofs and outbuildings so nothing rests on a structure that cannot take it.
- Birdcage & crash decks Fully boarded internal platforms for high ceilings, and crash decks that catch what falls.
- Edge protection & gantries Roof edge protection, pedestrian gantries, loading bays and lift shaft access.

5 out of 5 stars. Olly and his team were super efficient, friendly and helpful when putting up the scaffolding for roof work that had to be carried out on my house. As soon as the work was finished, they wasted no time and returned the same day to take it down again. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

5 out of 5 stars. Oli at Jarvis scaffolding could not have been more helpful in facilitating the deconstruction of our scaffolding. He was able to bring a team in and have it down with 48 hours notice. Highly professional, fairly priced and great to deal with.

5 out of 5 stars. Masterfully done and not a scratch. Was a difficult placement, across different owners' roofs and with some tricky angles, but they managed quickly and perfectly. Friendly local guys. Highly recommend.
